VISION
LIVESTOCK FOR THE NEXT CENTRY
At Eda Livestock, we are dedicated to creating a new era of Wagyu by combining traditional Japanese expertise with modern agricultural innovations. We proudly lead the way as the world’s first producer of organic Wagyu, utilizing domestically sourced feed and smart livestock technology to ensure sustainable Wagyu production.
1. Sustainable Feed
Utilizing circular agriculture, we cultivate our own rice straw and grains. By minimizing reliance on imported feed, we are building a stable domestic feed supply chain, ensuring consistent quality and pricing in feed production.
What We Do
2. Livestock DX
With a severe labor shortage expected, we aim to establish labor-free rearing methods. We are pioneering automated production through AI sensor trials with two major companies in Takahara, Miyazaki.

3. New Brand
Since 2022, we've launched sales under a sustainably-focused brand, introducing Eda Wagyu (All Natural Wagyu) used in high-end hotels both domestically and internationally.

Original Wagyu
EDA WAGYU / ALL NATURAL WAGYU
Eda Wagyu, launched in 2022 with the concept of "Safe, Secure, and Delicious," is available domestically at high-end hotels, supermarkets, through hometown tax programs, and on our e-commerce site. Internationally, it is gaining popularity, especially in the U.S. and Hong Kong.
The Definition of EDA WAGYU
Number. 1
Use of Circular Feed
By using circular agricultural feed derived from our own cattle manure, we promote domestic feed production and environmental conservation. This sustainable, in-house feed production reduces reliance on imported feed.
Chemical-Free
Number. 2
In our Wagyu production process, we strictly avoid the use of antibiotics and growth promoters. We are committed to practices that prioritize the health of both cattle and people.
Number. 3
Animal Welfare
Following organic standards, we ensure ample space per head in our barns. Regular cleaning maintains a comfortable and healthy environment for the cattle.
Number. 4
Use of Natural
Spring Water
By using natural spring water from Mount Kirishima as drinking water for our cattle, we ensure they have access to mineral-rich, nutritious water at all times.
2026! A World First!
ORGANIC EDA WAGYU
In January 2026, Eda Wagyu will be the world’s first organically certified Wagyu. This Black Wagyu, grain-finished with 50% grain, combines rich flavor with an animal welfare-focused, outdoor-friendly rearing environment.
Initiatives Toward Organic Certification
POINT. 01
Feeding with Organic Feed
POINT. 02
Exercise Facility
We feed 50% organic grass and 50% organic grains. The grass is 100% homegrown through circular farming, while the grains are an original blend of organic grains, produced and used as our proprietary feed.
An exercise area is a requirement for organic certification. Instead of solely indoor housing, we provide an open exercise facility where cattle can move freely outdoors every day.
Main Clients
\\ The taste is another level //
Pursuit of Flavor
We never stop pursuing exceptional flavor. The difference is in every bite.
Natural Marbling
Our company is committed to natural feeding, ensuring our cattle do not absorb chemicals. The fat in our Wagyu beef is genuine, noted for its low melting point and clean taste.
High-Flavor Lineage
